After landing a new high pressured job, Nessa from Luxembourg, began gaining weight.
“I was focused on my job and not on my body. I was making poor food choices, and I constantly felt stressed and tired.”
And, just like many other dieters, it was an unflattering photo that gave her the wake up call she needed to make changes to her lifestyle.
“I didn’t realise how much my body changed during the time that I didn’t care enough about it.”
So in March last year the 40-year-old started taking steps to become both happier and healthier.
Waking up at 5am every day, she committed to going to the gym before work.
Her workouts featured on Kayla Itsines’s Bikini Body Guides – a series of high-intensity interval training.
Eating every three hours, she packs in five to six balanced meals, with her total calorie count at a surprising 1,900 to 2,000 a day!
And while she now takes a break from her plan at the weekends, she stuck to it diligently for the first 11 weeks. And the results are impressive!
