There could be a new hope for women struggling with fertility.

A study by the University of Edinburgh has found that a common cancer treatment can trigger the development of new eggs.

The women involved had been treated for Hodgkin's lymphoma with a drug combination known as ABVD.

Researchers say there was a huge increase in the number of eggs, and that was a very unexpected result.
