Sometimes you just need to take a day off from work here and there to help get through - and more often than not, that means, throwing a 'sickie'.

But according to research, there is an art to wagging work, including being careful with which days you choose to take off.

Unfortunately, Mondays and Fridays are the worst days to try bunk off, as 65 per cent of employers won’t believe a staff member who calls in sick on those days.
