If you’ve ever struggled to know the answers to your children’s’ homework, you are not alone!

A study conducted by Butlins, a chain of holiday camps based out of the UK revealed that one in three parents admit to being confused when assisting their children with homework.

Some key statistics revealed:

20% of parents pretend to know the answer before going online to research it

25% feel they lose kudos with their child due to their lack of knowledge

55% of parents also spend more than 40 hours a year trying to keep up with the latest school curriculum

Many parents are lead to feelings of anxiety as a result of not being able to assist their kids with their homework. Butlin’s has now launched its “Astonishing Family Science Weekend” which aims to help children and their parents with some of the harder subjects.
