Avya - You Don't Get It

Following the release of her story-driven ballad ‘Green’, AVYA has one more offering for 2022 that’s bold, defiant and undeniably catchy.

‘You Don’t Get It’ is an ode to the turbulent 2021; inspired by the state of the nation after numerous lockdowns and being overloaded with varying information in the media. Written and produced with Joe Faris, the pair explored the narrative of breaking free from other’s expectations, and finding peace amidst the noise of opinions.

“I witnessed intense segregation and division in my world. I could see and feel the strain that the controversy was having on the relationships around me and it was suffocating at best,” AVYA explains.
