Four-time nominee at this year’s Aotearoa Music Awards, Georgia Lines, has released a hook-laden new song, 'Julia'.

A playful song, 'Julia' is like a three-minute daydream with a touch of the legendary Carole King.

“The song doesn’t take itself too seriously,” says Georgia. “It feels like you’ve accidentally wandered into the middle of a soap opera.”

Georgia adds that Julia taps into a very specific feeling: “We’ve all had that moment with an ex. Maybe we don’t say it out loud, but deep down we’re thinking, ‘You can date anyone… just not her.’”
