22-year-old New Zealand artist Muroki has treated fans to a funky new single ‘Love Cocoon,’ featuring BENEE.
Muroki’s hybrid sound mixes his Raglan background of skating pavements and surfing breaks with inspiration from his Kenyan heritage.
Speaking on his relationship with BENEE and making this song together, Muroki explains: "All these influences were just saying one thing to me and I thought why not go straight to the source and get BENEE to jump on this track?
"We sing two sides of a tale about someone utterly besotted with their partner and I love what we got here."
On jumping on the track, BENEE says: "Muroki played me 'Love Cocoon' earlier on this year and asked if I wanted to jump on! I was instantly drawn to how smooth everything is about this song & wanted to try to support that in my verse! I also related to these lyrics a lot."
