Missing Teen LA Tukerangi Found In Eastern Bay Of Plenty

A missing 15-year-old girl who was allegedly kidnapped has been found.
LA Tukerangi and her alleged captor, career criminal Dean Whakatau, 36, were located in the eastern Bay of Plenty this morning, police said.
Miss Tukerangi's family had been informed, police said.
Officers will be speaking with both Miss Tukerangi and Whakatau.
"Police wish to thank the public for their considerable support in this matter," police said in a statement.
"That is all the information available at this stage."
