Wellington Students Sent Home After Bomb Threat

A Wellington school has sent all students homes following an anonymous bomb threat.

Police are currently at St Patrick's College in Kilbirnie, after the school received an email containing the threat around 10 this morning.

A notice to parents on the College's website says after discussing the situation with police, the decision was made to evacuate the College.

Police are investigating - meanwhile all students and staff have been sent home for the rest of the day with school set to resume as normal tomorrow.
