Coldplay singer, Chris Martin has become the internet’s new favourite meme after being upstaged by Beyonce and Bruno Mars at the Super Bowl 50 halftime show.
Social media erupted with images poking fun at Martin, claiming he struggled to keep up with his fast-paced counterparts.
The hilarious memes come after Martin’s 11-year-old daughter, Apple, warned him about the cruelty of the internet.
“My daughter said the sweetest thing yesterday. ‘How you feeling about the Super Bowl?’ ‘Of course, we’re a little bit nervous’,” Martin told CBS News, laughing.
“She said to me, ‘Dad, the worst that could happen is that you’ll get turned into a meme. And after a month or so people will just forget!’”
She totally called it!
