One Australian couple are making headlines right around the world after sharing their inspirational story online.
Melita Koulmandas Hunter and her husband, Rory, moved to Cambodia in 2005 to sort through some business obligations. Once they were finished there they were ment to move to New York! But that never happened.
Instead, the locals offered them a private island 29km off the coast of Cambodia. They said they wanted a change in the environment. The asking price for the private island??
$15,000
The dream was to turn the island into a resort, but 2 years after buying the island, Melita was diagnosed with cancer.
They managed to get things back on track and have now finished a 27 villa resort called Song Saa. Check out the photos to have a closer look at this amazing place!
