WARNING: These images may be upsetting to some.
Photos showing the moment a hot air balloon burst into flames then fell to the ground near Carterton in 2012 have been released.
A coronial hearing into the deaths of all 11 on board ran for a week in May last year, was adjourned, and began again in July.
Families of those killed in the crash wanted the four photos to be released, to demonstrate the potential dangers of hot air ballooning.
However, photographer Geoffrey Walker challenged Coroner Ryan's decision allowing that.
The High Court upheld the coroner's decision - which saw Mr Walker lodge an appeal.
That appeal has now been dropped - meaning the photos can be published.
