SCROLL DOWN TO SEE WHO DIES IN THE 26TH SEASON OF THE SIMPSONS

There was so much speculation as to who would die at the start of the 26th season of The Simpsons and now we finally know who it is.

In the episode titled "Clown In The Dumps", show favourite Krusty The Clown retired from his job after being offended by a comedy channel roast of him.

But it's not Krusty that dies in the episode.

It's his father, Rabbi Krustofsky.

He dies as he is about to tell Krusty what he thinks of his comedic achievements.

Executive Producer of The Simpsons, Al Jean, had earlier said that it wasn't an 'iconic character', but a 'great character and major one'.
