Beyonce's wax figure looks NOTHING like her and the Internet is not happy

Madame Tussaud's New York is coming under MAJOR fire for its Beyoncé wax figure — and we can't really blame her fans for feeling outraged!

Fans took to Twitter to express their outrage, claiming her skin looked like it had been “whitewashed,” which made the hashtag "#TussaudsSoWhite" go viral.

The figure, which is dressed in a blue sparkly costume, fishnets, and thigh high black boots, appears to have long blonde curly locks reminiscent of the singer’s but the similarities stop there.

Beyonce fans went as far to say the figure looks more like Mariah Carey, Shakira, Lindsay Lohan or even Kate Hudson.

The tourist attraction tried to explain what happened with a statement saying: "At Madame Tussauds, our talented team of sculptors take every effort to ensure we accurately colour match all of our wax figures to the celebrity being depicted. Lighting within the attraction combined with flash photography may distort and misrepresent the colour of our wax figures."
