We're all familiar with exercise bikes - they’re pillars at any gym big or small. But you might be a bit surprised to hear that they’re now being made for our kiddies.

The folks at Fisher Price have just announced their ‘Think & Learn Smart Cycle’ that’s expected to hit the shelves this year.

The bike, which will set parents back US$150 upon release, comes equipped with a tablet dock, games and are bluetooth enabled so that the toddlers can connect to your Apple/Android TV as they burn off some lollie weight.

“They’re learning and mastering content as they pedal, fast or slow, forwards or backwards,” Amber Pietrobono, a spokeswoman with Fisher-Price, told CNNMoney. “It’s also how they level up in the games.”

The bike is meant for kids ages 3-6, and as you can imagine there is a great deal of disapproval from angry parents…

There were a few people who seemed to like the concept...

What do you think? Is this exercise bike worthless, or an interesting step-forward in getting the young ones to be proactively healthy while indoors?
