KFC has unveiled a special new item just in time for Christmas …

Who can resist the delicious smell of KFC?

Well now, the fried chicken specialists have created something very special that encapsulates the mouth-watering scent just in time for Christmas.

Teaming up with Enviro-Log, KFC made a limited edition Firelog that smells JUST like their famous 11 herbs and spices fried chicken.

Yummmm!

"The smell of the Colonel's Original Recipe fried chicken is unmistakable and may result in a craving for fried chicken ... attracting bears or neighbours who are hungry," the fast-food chain said in a statement.

Unfortunately, the firelogs – which were selling in the US for just $18.99 (NZ$27.66) have completely sold out.

Even though it is the middle of summer here in New Zealand, we would have still loved to have this tasty scented firelog crackling away …
