Online shop NZ Sale has been slammed for its inappropriate kids clothes

NZSALE - an online retailer - is being slammed for selling "inappropriate" clothing for young girls.

While it's described as "beautifully designed clothing for your little one", parents are not happy with slogan printed on the front of the dress.

Aimed at girls aged three to nine, the message reads "I'm sexy and I know it".

Following complaints NZSALE has listed the dress as "sold out" on its website.
