Have you ever wondered why cinema seats are always the colour red?
Probably not, but now that we've mentioned it we bet you're curious...
It’s because red is the first colour that is lost to our sight in low-light conditions.
Anything red virtually disappears to our eyes when the lights go down.
But that's not all.
Apparently red chairs are also used in tribute to the historic accuracy of the opera house.
