Why exactly has Sam Wallace got his shirt off with The Bachelor?

Over the past couple weeks, Sam has been giving updates on his new favourite show, The Bachelor NZ - but has often been a tad critical of the star of the show, Zac Franich.

We just think he's jealous.

This morning Sarah, Sam and Toni met up with Zac and it was time for Sam to face the music.

After accusing Zac of having a "dad bod" Sam made amends by taking his own shirt off, saying: "When you make a dad bod call, I've decided to get my dad bod out."

Zac was a good sport about it all telling the crew, that he doesn't really care whether he has a dad bod or not. 

Sam also piled on the compliments to the 28-year old heartthrob. 

"I reckon he's better looking in real life," Sam said.

Sarah added that she was pleasantly surprised by just how good looking Zac was.

"I'm pleasantly surprised you're not ugly," Zac joked, trying to decipher the meaning of Sarah's comment.

"Yes! Well done The Bachelor," Sarah laughed.

Sam and Zac were close to being twins, even arriving at The Hits' studio wearing the same outfits.

But it's not the first time the two have been compared to each other.

A few weeks ago Sam posed next to a photo of Zac and asked fans on Facebook to decided who won in the looks department.
