Estelle finds out about 'Greenfulness' with Nic from Mainstream Green

Part of what I'm loving about the 'going plastic free' challenge with Try It Out Tuesday is the great people I am finding to chat with about how they have done it and ways we can all look at reducing our waste.

Tonight I had a fantastic chat with Nic Turner, founder of Mainstream Green NZ. I got the low down on what 'Greenfulness' means, Nic's new years resolution to only go food shopping every six to eight weeks - true story - saving money, time and the planet. 

We also chat how to deal with kids and the 'stuff' they want/have that seems to revolve around plastic. And the plant based packaging and products ecostore have released, a company that Nic has loved for years and worked with recently. ( I just bought their new plant plastic toothbrush as pictured..likey)
