Form her nominator- I am nominating Debra as she is like my second mum, she has been through a hell of a lot over the pass two years, she has lost both her parents and has been in and out of hospital as she has been really sick, but what makes her a super woman is she still wants to make sure everyone else is ok. Always has a smile on you face and always makes you laugh even if your having a bad, I just feel that she needs something this to show her how much we love her and what she means to us all. Debra is always the first to want to help out if she can and we are hoping that she will be round for years to come, Debra is on the mend at this stage which is great because she has her cheeky smile back that we all love, Debra is the one on the right, and it is her sister that is on the left

8/26 Gail Kennedy-Diack. From her nominator- Gail felt depressed when she was unable to lose weight she had put on after having her two kids. But instead of a bottle of pills or fad diets, she turned to social media for help. She set up a Facebook page called Mums On A Mission, to appeal to mums who are keen to get fit, healthy and lose some weight and was overwhelmed by the response. Her role, as a facilitator of Mums On A Mission (MOAM), is to set up exercise sessions for the mums, up to four sessions a day, that she runs and participates in as well, helping those new to exercise and those who need a push or motivation to get out of bed. There are all sorts of sessions - running, walking, hill walking, circuit training, and fitness camps - which cater for varying exercise levels. She is not a personal trainer, just a mum with experience in the fitness industry and a passion to achieve her goals and help others along the way. MOAM is also about much more than exercise. Its slogan is "Help yourself by helping others" - this could simply be asking someone to go out for a walk with you, but we have also rallied for members in need, and have fund-raised over $10,000 for 13 local charities over the space of 10 days. Since she has started MOAM, She has lost a total of around 24kg and around 70cm off her chest, waist and hips. Membership of the page has grown to over 1000 members. Truly a superwoman!!!

9/26 Haidee Janetzki. From her nominator- Haidee is a super woman who gives large amounts of her time to her family and community. Through her work as a sonographer, she is progressing the research and awareness of ultrasound screening of breasts for women who can't have mammograms (a surprisingly large number of women). She has recently been recognised by the Australasian Sonographers Association because of her work by receiving the New Zealand Sonographer of the Year Award. On top of this, Haidee is also studying to achieve her Masters of Medical Sonography. 18 months ago, Haidee took two foster children into her home and 6 months later, welcomed their two older sisters into her home. All four children are now permanently a part of her family and Haidee continues to provide love and care for them. Since the children have lived with her, they have grown to be happy and healthy and are becoming settled and enjoying life with their new family. She uses her skills and passions to support the Arts in Nelson, volunteering with Nelson Youth Theater and recently with Tasman Coastal Players. She has acted and done music directing and choreography for many shows, helping youth and adults alike to develop their skills in singing, acting and dancing. Haidee also gives her time to her local school, community youth groups and church, volunteering in many ways behind the scenes to serve her community. It's for these reasons that I am nominating my wife, Haidee, whom I believe is a super woman!

10/26 Hazel Wilks. From her nominator- Hazel grew up in rural Nelson and moved north to study at The University of Auckland in 2012. After studying health sciences in first year she was accepted into medical school. From 2013 onwards Hazel has been involved in extra-curricular service and leadership roles. She finds work in these areas both challenging and fulfilling. Balancing her medical education with such roles is challenging and Hazel has had to learn important skills in time management and organisation. Having the opportunity to contribute to her medical community in a positive and hopefully enriching way is very fulfilling for her. Hazel values teamwork, clear communication, and efficiency in the 2015 AUMSA executive committee. AUMSA is an amazing association and she is honoured to be a part of it.

14/26 Kate Shury. From her nominator- She is the strongest, kindest, most warm-hearted person i know (and i'm not just saying this as she's my wife) and all of this after an extremely tough year. We had identical twin girls just over a year ago who were born at 29 weeks, Kate was away from home in Wellington for 10 weeks after the girls were born (by emergency C-Section) and still found time to phone, write and send pictures to our 3 year old. On returning to Taranaki it was the same for a further 8 weeks until they were finally strong enough to come home. She has done all of this whilst suffering chronic post natal depression and being made redundant. She is truly a super woman in every sense as well as an amazing mother

Mel is nearly the first one with her hand up saying I don't have a trailer but will it fit in my van and I will pick it up. She also provides her time to children's toy library, the Ohau Market. She is forever on the go to help out where ever and where ever. She never asks for anything in return. This woman is a Saint. This would be a wonderful way to recognize her.

18/26
18/26 Natalie Green. From her nominator- I met her 17 years ago, on a vacation and 2 months later we got married. Her Father had died in a micro light plane crash just outside Christchurch when she was 17, and she took care of her mum ever since. We were married for 10 years before we had our magical daughter. Her mum became an invalid and moved in with us shortly after our daughter was born. She was on oxygen 24 hours a day for 4 more years, and my wife took care of her mum, our daughter and me. She fed us all 3 times a day 7 days a week, while I worked many hours a day to scrape a living. She never complained and always was their for all of us. When her mum passed our family was three. Having no parents around from either side of the family, no brothers or sisters for either of us, we are 3 in this world. My daughter is our only child. We have no built in sitters as family to give her a break, and she has the kindest heart, and loving nature i have ever seen. She runs our house and has guided our daughter into the most beautiful kind spirit in her image. I am the luckiest man on Earth. She makes sure our daughter eats right, treats people kindly, shares, and loves just as my wife does. Doing it all, everyday, and never quits, and always tries to be a bright spirit for our family. She is wonderful.

19/26
19/26 Paula Hemana. From her nominator- This is our BOSS, yes she runs and owns NZ Roofing and has been involved in the roofing/construction trade for 14 years now. Shes not just a pretty face...she actually knows her stuff, we (her staff) crack up when she arrives on our large/commercial construction sites for meetings. You can see the other meeting attendees (90% always men) are thinking "who's this women??", "she must be lost..." OR "what do we have here A WOMEN??!!" "oh hell". As soon as she arrives it only takes a few seconds for all to realise she is very smart & know her stuff (hence her success!). She is a mum of 2 boys 5 & 6 years. She keeps us all in line (10 male roofing staff), works so hard, committed to her boys always attending school events. We just don't know how she does it? How does she find time to be a successful & award winning business women?, a mum? and recently also became a wife.. (yep sorry lads she is taken)! We think she deserves the title of SUPERWOMEN for simply putting up with us lot, shes very kind and humble to top it off too...call her/meet her check her out for yourself......none of us are putting our hands up for this email, guess she will have to use her super powers to work it out HA!!!! PS: she is also beautiful and photogenic - calendar girl -all day!

She manages and organises her own netball team and is on committees left right and centre. She is arranging her twins wakaama trip to Aussie.. For the whole team. She is a go to person for everything.. A true superwoman.

21/26
21/26 Rachel Palmer. From her nominator- Rachel is a mum to 3 children, a wife and a Personal Trainer while working Part-Time in another industry but most of all she is an inspiring woman who is going about her life while providing remarkable impact to so many others. I have only known Rachel since November 2014 and through this short time she has taught me so much. Rachel is currently training to compete in the Wanaka Half Iron Man in February 2016 and I cannot wait to see what she can achieve. Training for this event while helping others on their fitness journey, being a mum and wife is no easy task and Rachel seems to take it all in her stride and maintain excellence. Rachel is in close communication with those that she trains, it wouldn't be uncommon for me to hear from her daily and this is why she is so amazing at what she does. Training with Rachel is fun, enjoyable but most of all rewarding, even when it hurts the next day and the next. Rachel is always looking to increase her understanding of what she knows often commenting on seminars she has been to or books she has been reading about health, food and wellness....sharing everything she knows along the way. I am nominating Rachel for this because she is a Super Woman doing super things to make other people feel super!

22/26
22/26 Rhonda Maindonald. From her nominator- This is my mum and I would be lucky to be half the woman she is! Not only is she a single mother who has literally worked her butt off to give us everything we needed (while often not giving back to herself), providing a stable happy loving household for her 3 kids following a messy divorce, helping her mum with her ailing father with Alzheimer's and helping her best friend through breast cancer but maintaining a job and supporting all the students she looks after! She goes above and beyond for all her students, helping them with accommodation and budgeting and making sure they always have enough to eat and somewhere warm to stay! This is not all she has done, she is a manager (momager sometimes) for all our sports teams, she plays in her own, she is always there at our sports games and tournaments and always there to support not only us but everyone. She is my superhero, but most defiantly a super woman. Not enough words can explain everything she does for not only our family but everyone we know. I don't know how to show my mum how awesome she is, so no better way to show her that New Zealand agrees with me too! She is the best mum I could ask for.
-
23/26
23/26 Rochelle Allen. From her nominator- Rochelle is a mother of 5 (including 2 sets of twins). Over the years she has had her fair share of adversity. However about 5 years ago, this was taken to a new level when one of the younger twins was diagnosed with cancer. Throughout his treatment, Rochelle was a pillar of strength not only for her son but for everyone around her. She tirelessly made sure he got the very best care, while still taking care of her other children. Fortunately he recovered and is doing well today. But last year tragedy struck again in Rochelle's life and one of her older twins had a terrible accident which left him a quadriplegic. Despite this breaking her heart, she spent day and night with her boy nursing him alongside the medical staff with such love, care and determination that it was heartbreaking but beautiful to witness. She displayed such amazing strength and often comforted others upset by the cruel twist of fate. In addition, she is still an amazing mother to her other four children, a wonderful daughter, an loving partner and an incredible friend to all who know her. She always has a smile on her face and is willing to help anyone in need without a moment's hesitation. A Superwoman indeed!

24/26
24/26 Shayla Foster. From her nominator- Miss Shayla Foster is deserves to be the real "super women" because honestly she is the most amazing, kind, caring, funny and wonderful teacher I've ever had. I've learnt so much from her and she has really pushed not only me but all of her students to there full potential. Miss foster is truly the most perfect teacher anyone could ever ask for and she has opened my eyes to my future which I believe is health education and without her I would still be lost and confused as a teenager not knowing what to do, but with her help I'm aiming high and going for what I want in life. These are just a small proportion of why Miss Shayla Foster should be the real "super women" she deserves to be presented as a hero. Thank you

25/26
25/26 Zoe Husband. From her nominator- Zoe is really just amazing. She is one of the key organisers of events and everyday tasks at Ceroc Wellington. This year alone she has been an absolute machine, helping successfully organise our branches regional dance competition, our upcoming Simply Ceroc weekend and many many more. This is on top of having a full time events manager job and also competing as a Ceroc dancer at events both in NZ and Australia. She never says NO and is willing to take on anything to help our dance teacher Adam, out in the running of his business. Zoe thoroughly deserves this recognition as I don't think people realise just how much work she puts in behind the scenes for everyone. I believe Ceroc Wellington would fall apart without her, she really is the glue that holds the team together. I honestly believe she hides a red cape under her everyday clothing, she is the ultimate superwoman and I am very lucky to call her one of my best friends.
