Adele Met Her Doppleganger And The Selfie Is AWESOME

Emily Bamforth has often had people comment that she looked a bit like Adele, but she never expected this reaction from the lady herself.

Bamforth, a 27-year-old account manager for Dio, had the amazing opportunity of meeting the one and only 25 singer on Tuesday night at her concert in Birmingham, England.

She graced the stage in front of the sold-out crowd, and they took a selfie.

The two really do share an uncanny resemblance with one another. She wrote on Instagram, “Overwhelmed to have met @adele tonight and got a selfie! #adeletour #adeletour25 #adeletour2016 #adelebirmingham”:

Bamforth’s fiancé Tom Winkler, with whom she attended the concert, told the Daily Mail that he got Adele’s attention from their floor seats.

“All I did was very politely stand up with my hand up and asked her a question. I’m 6 feet 8, only two rows from the front. She called me handsome.”

Winkler added, “She’s been a huge fan. This has made her night.”

Ever since 2012, when Adele unofficially broke out onto the scene as the Queen of music, Bamforth has been called her dopplegänger by friends and fans alike. She posts makeup tutorial videos of how to achieve Adele’s look from time to time, too.
