An Emotional Amy Schumer Talks About Female Empowerment & Self Worth

Comedian Amy Schumer, has sat down with The Today Show to discuss her new campaign which uses fashion to promote positive body image and confidence for women

In the interview, Schumer revealed self-confidence is new for her, discussing how she used to want to hide her body when choosing outfits and would hold herself back.

"It's been a struggle for me my whole life, and especially just being in the entertainment industry. Standing on a stage in front of people, I can't perform my best or be confident if I'm not sure — if I'm pulling at something [I'm wearing]. And sometimes I would just want to throw in the towel and be like, 'I'm not gonna go do standup tonight.'"
