Australia Zoo laughs off Terri and Russell rumours

Australia Zoo has laughed off rumours Terri Irwin and Russell Crowe are working together to launch the zoo in America.

On Monday, New Idea reported the pair — who the magazine also claimed were romantically involved — were “finalising plans” to establish a branch of the world-famous attraction in California.

But a spokeswoman for the zoo has said the story is not true.

“All of these reports are completely false, as per usual standard of New Idea,” she said.

“Terri and Russell do not have any joint business plans in the US and we can advise with certainty that these stories have been made up in gossip mag world.”

Crowe recently slammed women’s magazines after claims he was in a romantic relationship with Irwin.

The 52-year-old actor took to Twitter, telling fans that his life is not as dramatic as the magazines make out.

“Last week @NewIdeamagazine said I was getting married, now @WomansDay saying the weddings off. I have such a dramatic life in bs magazines.”
