Beyoncé celebrates birthday in Corsica

Beyoncé is celebrating her 33rd birthday in Corsica. 

The 'Drunk in Love' hitmaker flew into the south of France with her husband Jay Z and their two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy today (04.09.14) on a private jet to celebrate her annual milestone on the peaceful island. 

The 44-year-old rapper, who married the brunette beauty in 2008, was feeling extra generous on the flight and even tipped the air hostess a reported €500.

It seems no expenses have been spared on the vacation as it is believed the pair have hired a luxury yacht for a reported $800,000 per week.

The loved-up couple sparked rumours recently that their marriage had hit the rocks, but friends believe the trip will give them time to sort through their issues. 

A source told E! News: "They've had their problems, but they're still solid. Going away for Beyoncé's birthday in September is a tradition they have. It's a chance to get some quality time together and relax far from worries about their crazy work schedules."

Meanwhile, the duo are set to end their 'On The Run' tour with a two-night stint at the Stade de France in Paris, on September 12 and 13.
