Bruce Jenner Comes Out As Transgender 'I Am A Woman'

Following much speculation and rumour, Olympic gold medalist and reality TV star Bruce Jenner has confirmed that he is in the process of transitioning from a man to a woman.
He came out as transgender in an interview with ABC's Diane Sawyer that aired only hours ago.
“My whole life has been getting me ready for this. It’s not just the last few years, as they’ve been treating me, as a joke,” Jenner said, referring to the heavy tabloid press and media firestorm, which has surrounded him. “My whole life has prepared me for this moment so I want to take advantage of it and do the right thing.”
“Bruce lives a lie,” he said. “She is not a lie. I can’t do it anymore.”
