Daniel Radcliffe Reveals Why He Won't Be Seeing 'Harry Potter And The Cursed Child'

After playing Harry Potter for an entire decade, you'd assume Daniel Radcliffe would be keen to watch his onscreen counterpart come to life onstage!

But apparently he's said he's "not sure" if he will make it. And it's for the most considerate reason.

At the premiere of his new film Now You See Me 2, he told E! News that he doesn't want to steal the spotlight from the production.

“It would be a weird one,” he admitted. “I could be completely wrong in this, but I feel like if I went to see it that night, there’s going to be a lot of Harry Potter fans there in the audience obviously and would that then become a thing? Would it be more about them watching me watch the show or would it take away from the show? I would never want to do anything that would distract or take away from the show.”

He added, “I don’t know. I’m busy doing a play here at the moment, but I’m not sure.”

We hadn't even thought of that, but he does make a good point! Him going to see the show would be a highly publicised event... but we think it's pretty unfair that he won't get to see it! Do you think he should go?
