Demi Lovato Dedicates a Song to Bruce Jenner

Demi Lovato dedicated her song 'Warrior' to Bruce Jenner in her second Auckland concert. She said:

How many of you guys saw a really really inspiring interview last night?... I tweeted #fuckyeahbrucejenner.

I’ve come out with a lot of my issues… this whole fame thing starts taking over and then all of a sudden boom you’re in rehab (not everybody, but…) and then you’re in headlines and people… know your problems now.

An American hero, an Olympian, he was already a... hero in my country because of that (though I didn’t know who he was until Keeping Up with the Kardashians and let’s be honest, neither did you).

And I just wanted to dedicate this song, and it’s so cheesy that I’m doing this, but fuck it whatever. I dedicate this song to someone who became an even bigger hero last night: Bruce Jenner (by the way I never thought I’d dedicate a song to him). *Audience laughs* He was honest and he was open with his story.

And no matter if you agree with or not, he probably saved so many lives and educated so many people transitioning into being a woman and [being] transgender… So I just want to dedicate [this]. He looked fabulous last night. I could totally imagine him with a martini glass, I was like ‘YAAASSS… SLAAAY
