Dick Van Dyke has just made our day!

The actor, who originally played chimney sweep Bert, has revealed that he is going to be in Mary Poppins Returns, the sequel to the beloved Disney classic.

'This one supposedly takes place 20 years later and the kids are all grown up,' the 91-year-old said. 'It's a great cast- Meryl Streep, Angela Lansbury and that guy [Lin-Manuel Miranda] from Hamilton.'

Mary Poppins Returns will revolve around Jane and Michael Banks as adults.

After dealing with a tragic loss, the two characters along with Michael's three kids are re-visited by the one and only Mary Poppins who brings magic back into their lives.

Van Dyke will portray the son of a greedy banker who employed the childrens’ father in the sequel.

Emily Blunt will be playing Mary and Lin-Manuel Miranda will star as streetlamp lighter Jack.

The sequel also stars Meryl Streep as Mary’s cousin Topsy.

Ben Whishaw will play Michael Banks, Emily Mortimer will star as Jane Banks and Colin Firth will be William Weatherall Wilkins, the president of Fidelity Fiduciary Bank.

The film is expected to be released in theaters on Christmas Day 2018.
