Ed Sheeran's New Tattoo: A Giant Lion

Could it be a tribute to Cecil the lion?

Whatever it is, this thing is massive - Ed Sheeran's latest addition to his extensive portflio of tattoos is a huge lion's head on his chest. 

Ed said in his Instagram caption 'Halfway and ouch', indicating that the final product will be a lot bigger. 

Celebrity tattoo artist Kevin Paul has said he loved applying the ink to Ed's skin, and can't wait to do the rest. 

Ed Sheeran is performing in Auckland in his first-ever stadium show in NZ on the 12th of December 2015, presented by The Hits.
