Emma Watson Responds To Being Target Of Kidnapping Plot

There were reports that Harry Potter star Emma Watson was the target of an elaborate kidnapping plot with two studio workers planning to abduct the actress.

The Sun claimed the plot was foiled by a taxi driver who overheard the two workers speaking in a different language but was able to understand what they were saying. The "abduction" was set to take place in the studios where the new live-action version of Disney's Beauty and the Beast was being filmed.

It turns out these reports are FALSE.

"The story was looked into by production and found to be unsubstantiated and untrue," a spokesperson told Vogue UK in a statement.

Surrey Police told the Daily Mail, "Nothing has ever been reported to us."
