Harrison Ford Seriously Injured In Plane Crash

A small plane piloted by actor Harrison Ford crashed in LA Thursday afternoon with the actor suffering serious injuries. 

The 72 year old reportedly walked away from the crash with several gashes to his head, before being treated by doctors playing the Penmar golf course according to Variety.

He was then rushed by paramedics to a nearby hospital.

UPDATE 1.58pm

TMZ are reporting that Ford's plane suffered engine failure and he requested an emergency return to the airport.

Witnesses told TMZ that the cut on Ford's head was VERY deep, "A swath of his skin was missing. There was blood dripping down his face."

This isn't the first injury for Ford, having recently breaking his leg whilst filming Star Wars Episode 7.
