Kit Harington has accidentally confirmed that Jon Snow will return to Game of Thrones in more than one upcoming season.

Despite being spotted in Northern Ireland, where much of the series filming takes place, Harington has kept tight-lipped about whether he will actually be in season six of Game of Thrones.

Until now.

Harington's character Jon Snow was last seen in season five bleeding to death after being stabbed by the men of the Night's Watch.

Fans have long speculated that Snow is alive in some form in season six despite the show's producers insisting the popular character is definitely dead.

But, in an interview with Belgian magazine Humo, translated from Dutch by a helpful Reddit user, the usually cautious Harington appears to have finally confirmed that he will remain in Game of Thrones.

"Let's just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while," he told Humo.

"I'll probably be in my thirties when it's over."

Harington is currently 28, turning 29 in December. That means he may continue with the series until the show's finale confirmed to be in Season 8 in 2018 when he will be 31.
