Hello Sailor Frontman Graham Brazier Dies Aged 63

Hello Sailor frontman Graham Brazier has died just weeks after a heart attack forced the cancellation of the band's reunion tour.

A family spokesperson confirmed to the Herald that Brazier died this morning in an Auckland rehabilitation facility where he had been recovering after his hospitalisation.

The 63-year-old suffered the heart attack while on holiday in the Bay of Islands in August and was flown to Auckland Hospital where he underwent emergency treatment.

Hello Sailor's 1977 song Gutter Black was used as the theme music for hit TV show Outrageous Fortune.

Brazier's death follows the death of band mate Dave McArtney in 2013.
