Home and Away actress dies

Just seven days after she had her life support turned off, Jessica Falkholt has died.

The 29-year-old had remained in a critical condition after a horrific Boxing Day crash that also killed three members of her family.

A spokesperson for St George Hospital confirmed on behalf of Jessica's family that the Home and Away actress died at 10.20am today.

"Jessica passed away from serious injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on December 26," the hospital said.

Jessica's sister Annabelle, 21, died in hospital three days after the crash.

Their parents, Lars, 69, and Vivian, 61, died at the scene.

Craig Whitall, the 50-year-old driver of the car that crashed into the family's car was also killed in the crash.

It has since been revealed Whitall was a serial traffic offender.
