'Pretty Woman' star Julia Roberts has been supported by friends today following the death of her 80 year old mother, Betty Lou Bredemus.
She passed away on Thursday morning US time, following a battle with lung cancer.
Betty Lou's passing comes just a year after her daughter Nancy Motes - Julia's half sister - committed suicide from a drug overdose in February last year.
While Betty Lou's home was nearby it is understood in the last months of her illness she had been living at Julia's Los Angeles home, along with the Oscar-winning actress' husband Daniel Moder and their three children.
