Even though he's one of the most famous babies on the planet, it's been over three months since we last saw Prince Louis!

Until now.

The youngest child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who was born on April 23, has finally been seen for the first time since his christening in July.

One lucky royal fan spotted the six-month-old royal tot exiting a helicopter with his parents Kate Middleton and Prince William, as they arrived at Kensington Palace.

Prince William, who is a qualified helicopter pilot, flew the aircraft in from Norfolk where the couple's other two children, Prince George and Prince Charlotte, are spending their half term break.

Dressed in a maroon long-sleeved dress, Kate could be seen carrying Louis out of the helicopter, while Prince William followed behind with the nappy bag.

It’s a rare public sighting for the family, who try to keep their children out of the limelight as much as possible.

Besides the family’s traditional photo on the Lindo Wing steps, Prince Louis has only been seen on a handful of occasions.

According to Us Weekly, the littlest royal has changed a lot since the last photos of him.

A source told the publication: "He’s still very chubby but he’s grown fast and has a lovely head of hair on him. He’s very quiet and content, always smiling and happy.”
