Katy Perry set to perform live in NZ!

Katy Perry has confirmed New Zealand will be included in her world tour plans - but fans will have to wait a while.

A press release said Perry would visit sometime around "July and August" next year.

She'll be playing on the back of her most recent album Witness, which scored a No. 1 spot in America but didn't fare well with critics.

The release said, "show details will be announced soon".

Perry was last here playing two sold out shows in 2014.
