Kiwi Actor To Star On Grey's Anatomy

Fans were devastated when Dr. Derek Shepherd - aka McDreamy - played by Patrick Dempsey, was killed off in season 11.

Now Deadline has reported a new hottie has been cast, Kiwi actor Martin Henderson!

Martin is very familiar to starring in a hospital based TV show as he got his big break on Shortland Street which he worked on from 1992 - 1995.

No details have been revealed about Martin's character yet, but he is expected to play a new surgeon at Seattle Grace.
