Main Simpsons Character To Die In Upcoming Episode

The Simpsons Executive producer Al Jean revealed that one of the main characters on The Simpsons will be killed off in the final season!

Bart Simpson is to be killed off by arch rival Sideshow Bob after 25 years. Bob will finally devise a diabolical plan to finish off Bart that does not get foiled at the last minute.

Jean revealed the news at heir ATX Festival panel in Austin, Texas, yesterday, after saying he had always wanted to see the Coyote get the Road Runner in the classicLooney Tunes cartoons, something which never happened.

He said: "“I hated frustration comedy so we’ll scratch that itch.

"So Bob will finally somehow actually execute Bart—and then won’t know what to do with himself after his life’s mission has been accomplished."

In true Simpsons' style, the special episode will be another one-off format-shattering Halloween stunt and Bart will be back large as life in the normal episodes.
