'Obsessed' Gable Tostee Dumped By Kiwi Girlfriend

Gable Tostee has been dumped by the kiwi who supported him throughout his Brisbane murder trail, which saw him exonerated in October. 

The girlfriend, Lizzi Evans, has told Daily Mail Australia that he "hurt me in ways he said he wouldn't" and left her "emotionally starved". 

According to the Daily Mail, Evans broke the relationship off in recent weeks and returned to New Zealand.

"I said we had no future," she said in an exclusive interview.

Evans said she was "frustrated" by his behaviour and emotionally hurt by Tostee, who she described as being "obsessed" with his "old life" which revolved around partying, drinking and girls.

The pair were together for about a year, including Tostee's intense and emotionally draining trail for the murder of his tinder date, Warriena Wright, which ended in tragedy. Wright fell to her death from Tostee's fourteenth floor Surfers Paradise apartment on August 8, 2014.

Gable Tostee, who has changed his name to Eric Thomas, has also been approached for comment.
