When Kate Middleton married Prince William it was no surprise the mother-of-three would receive an official royal title from the Queen.

But now it's been revealed Pippa Middleton - who is currently expecting her first child with husband James Matthews - will get a royal title too.

Except, it has nothing to do with the Queen, or her big sister's royal connections.

Confused?

Allow us to explain...

The 34-year-old's royal title will be thanks to a property purchased by her father-in-law, David Matthews.

The hotelier owns a 10,000-acre property - located a mere 24 kilometers from Loch Ness - and when he purchased it he automatically became the 'Laird of Glen Affric'.

The title will be passed to James in time and when this happens, the brunette beauty will also be bestowed with a title.

Pippa will eventually become Lady Glen Affric.

Technically, they could choose not to adopt the titles but who would say no to being a 'Lady'?

Pippa and James, 42, tied the knot in May 2017.
