Previous The Block NZ Winners: Here's What They're Up To Now

The Block NZ: Girls v Boys season is nearing the end. As the auctions for the team's houses creep closer, we look back on how previous Block NZ winners fared on auction day and what they've gone on to do post the reality TV series. 

 

Total profit: $237,000

Season one saw the brother-sister duo of Libby and Ben Crawford, selling their home for $961,000. The pair hit a massive $157,000 over the set reserve and received an additional $100,000 in prize money.

Contestants Rachel Rasch and Tyson Hill, however didn't fare anywhere as well, as they didn't make a dime over the reserve on auction day.

The siblings have used their winnings to launch a creative agency in Auckland, specialising in branding advice, advertising and website design services.

Season Two, 2013: Alice and Caleb Pearson

Total profit: $261,000

Married couple Alice and Caleb Pearson took out the win for season 2. The sold their villa for a cool $1.126m, which put $181,000 over the set reserve in their pockets.

Post the reality TV series, the cute couple have launched their own DIY blog, Pearson and Projects, completed a newly renovated home and started a family.

Season Three, 2014: Alex and Corban Walls

Total profit: $307,000

In the Auckland suburb of Point Chevalier, Alex and Corban Walls won the third season of The Block NZ. 

The couple earned $227,000 over their reserve and then claimed the additional $100,000 in prize money. The Walls gifted fourth place contestants Quinn and Ben Alexandre $30,000, after the pair made a mere $10,000 over the set reserve price.

The couples have now started their own design business, Alex and Corban Home, offering interior design services and hand-picked decorative schemes for the home and office.

Season Four, 2015: Brooke and Mitch

Total profit: $290,000

Couple Brooke Thompson and Mitch Davies won the fourth season of the Block with their renovation of a traditional 1900s villa. Their house sold for an impressive $190,000 over the reserve.

The couple have since used their winnings to build a Queenstown property.
