Sam Smith Can Finally Speak Again!

Last month, Sam Smith underwent vocal surgery after a "small hemorrhage" was discovered on his vocal cords. He was forced to cancel his Australian tour after the scary health development and was left unable to speak for over three weeks. 

Sam announced on Instagram today that his beautiful voice was back in working order, posting a picture of Ariel the mermaid with the caption "I CAN SPEAK AGAIN"

He also added "Completely overwhelmed. Thank you so much Doctor Zeitels for everything. You have truly saved me this past few months. Such an amazing man. You truly truly truly don't know what you got until you lose it. I have fallen in love with music all over again over this past month, and more than ever I feel so blessed to be able to sing and do what I love every day xx"

Sam has announced the rescheduled dates for his cancelled Australian dates, which will be in November/December. "AUSTRALIA. From all the bad news has come some good news!! Not only am I coming back to make up for the cancelled shows but I get to play bloody arenas!!!!' he wrote.

We can't wait to hear Sam sing again!
