Before Shakira became an international pop star, she was just a young girl with dreams of making it big in 'Hollywood'.

Prior to her music career taking off, back in 1994, a then unknown 17-year-old Shakira landed a role as Luisa María in the Colombian telenovela 'El Oasis.'

With her curly dark hair we never would've known it was the Grammy-winning singer.
