One of the biggest mysteries on television for the past year is whether Kit Harington‘s beloved Game of Thrones character Jon Snow is dead or alive… and now we know!

HBO has confirmed that Jon Snow is indeed dead by revealing the episode description for the upcoming season six premiere.

“Jon Snow is dead. Daenerys meets a strong man. Cersei sees her daughter again,” the description reads.

Despite being killed off the show last year, Kit is doing press to promote the new season and even did a lie detector test to talk about spoilers.
