If you believe everything you read, Taylor Swift's cat might have caused $40 million dollars worth of damage to the singer's legs!

Swift tweeted a photo of her scratched left leg with the caption "GREAT WORK MEREDITH. I WAS JUST TRYING TO LOVE YOU AND NOW YOU OWE ME 40 MILLION DOLLARS."

Meredith is one of two of Taylor's cats, named after Meredith Grey from the TV show Grey's Anatomy.

The truth is Taylor's legs probably/most-likely/definitely-not insured for $40 million USD ($54 million NZD) despite reports earlier this week!
