They only scored $1000 during Sunday night's auction, one of the lowest amounts ever for a competitor on The Block NZ.
But Ling and Zing have a reason to smile with their Givealittle page getting close to the $20,000 mark.
The page was set up by a "disgruntled fan" to help raise some money for the Christchurch pair's efforts on The Block NZ, which saw them spend three months on the home renovation reality show and walk away nearly empty handed.
One Twitter wag worked out their $1000 prize money that's the equivalent of $0.48c an hour between them.

Just a 40 hour week for 12 weeks Ling and Zing worked for 48 cents an hour. That's shared between them....
But at the time of writing their page has had $19,741 pledged from 856 donors.
Those donations include $100 from Black Cap Brendon McCallum, who posted his contribution on Twitter.

That's a lot more than Stacey and Yanita, who scored $20,000 but had the show's $100,000 prize yanked away from them when Nate and Andy were allowed to return for a second auction after failing to sell their home at the first attempt.
They scored $31,000 over reserve, netting them The Block NZ's prizemoney.
Stacey and Yanita's page has $3,438 pledged from 137 donors.
