The Truth Behind Leonardo DiCaprio’s Awkward Moment With Lady Gaga

Yesterday the internet blew up after Leo's odd/hilarious reaction to Lady Gaga walking past him at the Golden Globes.

As Gaga walked to the stage to accept her award for best actress in a limited series, she brushed DiCaprio and apparently startled him, leading to one of the night’s most memorable moments.

When shown the viral moment backstage by Entertainment Tonight, DiCaprio and his director Alejandro González Iñárritu both laughed.

“Oh lord – that’s trending, huh?” DiCaprio said.

Fact of the matter is, Gaga simply took him by surprise.

“I just didn’t know what was passing me, that’s all!” he explained.

We guess he didn't mean any harm!
