There seems to be a trend of hugely popular TV shows & movies making a comeback these days..

Jurassic World is out, Terminator: Genesys is on the way and The X-Files filming a new season, the '90s appear to be back in a huge way.

Rounding out the comeback is the sequel to 1996's Independence Day, the title of which has now been revealed as Independence Day: Resurgence.

Roland Emmerich returns to direct the second film and has recruited a cast of veterans and new additions including Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Judd Hirsch, Liam Hemsworth, and Vivica A. Fox.
